Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Casper Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JoJo Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JoJo Kush will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Casper Holm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, JoJo Kush! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holm defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kush. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kush is defended easily by Holm. Kush feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kush throws an elbow that misses. Holm uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kush's guard. Nice move by Holm!
Holm avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kush can do anything to dispel that myth. Holm wants to get up but he can't break Kush's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kush is trying to keep Holm in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kush is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Holm defends well. Kush is pulling down on Holm's head to control his posture. Kush looking to control.
Holm has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kush has Holm pulled in close to control his posture. Holm wants to stand but Kush has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kush looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Kush closes this distance looking for a takedown but Holm circles away. Casper Holm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JoJo Kush. Holm goes for a double leg but Kush avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kush continues to drive forward. Kush takes a shot to the head. Kush is trying to pull guard but Holm has him pressed against the cage. Holm looking to slow down the pace here. Kush jumps guard but Holm turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Holm tries to break free but Kush pushes him back against the cage. Kush swings wildly with an uppercut but Holm uses good head movement to avoid it. Holm breaks from the clinch.
Kush is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Holm keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Holm rushes Kush and presses him up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holm lands a left hand.
Kush tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Holm smiles and moves away.
Kush fails to land the takedown. Holm throws a quick head kick that knocks Kush silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Holm is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Casper Holm! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Casper Holm made sure he mentioned VIRAL COMBAT, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
