Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jock Fletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razer Knife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jock Fletcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Razer Knife!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knife has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fletcher wants a takedown but no success here.
Fletcher has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Knife after a bit of a struggle.
Fletcher is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jock Fletcher. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Knife tries for a takedown. No joy.
Knife changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fletcher fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Fletcher drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Fletcher seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Knife for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fletcher definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fletcher continues to stall.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Fletcher shoots in looking for a takedown but Knife manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fletcher's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fletcher shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fletcher showed some decent athleticism there.
Fletcher looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Fletcher wants to pass the guard but Knife is defending well.
Fletcher seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Knife has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fletcher is working away from the top position though.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Knife enables Fletcher to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Knife manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fletcher's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jock Fletcher dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Fletcher tries for a takedown but Knife sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Knife decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fletcher is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fletcher is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Jock Fletcher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fletcher is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knife can do to turn this around?

Knife is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fletcher is just riding it out for now. Knife eventually gives up the hold.

Fletcher is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, if Fletcher is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Fletcher passes to side control.
Knife is breathing heavily.
Knife being controlled for a moment.

More hug and hope from Fletcher.
Knife parries the strikes from Fletcher easily there. Fletcher is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Knife to escape.
Fletcher tries to move to mount but Knife blocks the move with his legs.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Knife is trying to escape the position but Fletcher is controlling the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fletcher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fletcher works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Knife tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fletcher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Fletcher remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Fletcher bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here as Fletcher stalls from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fletcher's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Fletcher cracks Knife with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Fletcher takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Fletcher is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Fletcher lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Knife hang on?
Fletcher takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jock Fletcher showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fletcher, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
