Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Chrisianitos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Bailey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesus Chrisianitos! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bailey tries to close the distance and clinch but Chrisianitos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bailey throws a sloppy head kick and Chrisianitos counters with a body kick. Bailey looking to score a takedown here. Chrisianitos is defending well but Bailey drives through and ends up in Chrisianitos's guard. Chrisianitos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bailey is controlling him. Bailey forces his way into half guard. Still in half guard, Bailey seems content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bailey seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Chrisianitos for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey wants to free his trapped foot but Chrisianitos is holding on for dear life with his legs. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bailey with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chrisianitos gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bailey counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bailey tries to free his leg and advance position but Chrisianitos is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chrisianitos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bailey controls the pace. Chrisianitos wants to stand and escape but Bailey is having none of it. Bailey postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bailey throws a big right hand that misses. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bailey throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bailey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chrisianitos sprawls well initially but Bailey persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Chrisianitos is trying to stand back up but Bailey is controlling him
Bailey missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bailey seems to be working for a kimura but Chrisianitos defends the submission attempt. Bailey looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bailey not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bailey works his way into side control. Chrisianitos prevents Bailey from improving position. Bailey stands up and beckons Chrisianitos to his feet. Jim Bailey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bailey closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chrisianitos did well to prevent Bailey getting side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Jim Bailey has been cut. Chrisianitos fails with the takedown and Bailey counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bailey stalling. Bailey wants to control but Chrisianitos is keeping him busy. Bailey content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Chrisianitos is trying to stand up here but Bailey is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Chrisianitos is trying to stand up here but Bailey is controlling him well. Bailey slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bailey throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Chrisianitos misses with a takedown attempt - Bailey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bailey tries to clinch there but Chrisianitos circles away.
Jim Bailey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bailey misses with a leg kick and Chrisianitos counters with a head kick that drops Bailey to the mat! Bailey scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Chrisianitos! Bailey is out on his feet! Chrisianitos rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Bailey is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Bailey is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesus Chrisianitos! A relieved looking Jesus Chrisianitos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
