Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Van Beethoven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Dingleberry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Beethoven comes to the cage accompanied by Beethoven-Symphony 7. Dingleberry is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: PANTERA - F*CKING HOSTILE. The key to victory for Wolfgang Van Beethoven has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wolfgang Van Beethoven ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Dingleberry! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dingleberry has a takedown stuffed. Dingleberry throws a series of punches but Van Beethoven avoids them all with ease. Van Beethoven delivers a nice body kick. Van Beethoven throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Dingleberry with the counter takedown but Van Beethoven avoids it easily. Van Beethoven thows a left - swing and a miss! Dingleberry looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Van Beethoven misses with a hook. Dingleberry ducked under it nicely. Dingleberry uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Van Beethoven . And Dingleberry tries to counter it with a takedown but Van Beethoven pushes his down on his head and steps out. Van Beethoven will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A little jabbing left from Dingleberry on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dingleberry decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dingleberry is just content to waste time from the top position. Van Beethoven takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Van Beethoven looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Let's hope that Dingleberry has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Van Beethoven looking for submissions from the bottom here. Dingleberry wants to control from the top but Van Beethoven keeps moving. Dingleberry is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Van Beethoven looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Van Beethoven is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dingleberry missing with punches from the bottom.

Van Beethoven is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Dingleberry tries to reverse the position but Van Beethoven maintains control. Dingleberry is squirming around, avoiding Van Beethoven 's attempts to control the action. Dingleberry wants to hold on but Van Beethoven pushes him away.

Dingleberry sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Van Beethoven seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dingleberry does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Van Beethoven wants to pass the guard but Dingleberry is defending well. Van Beethoven will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Van Beethoven is trying to control the action in half guard but Dingleberry is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dingleberry is looking to control Van Beethoven 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dingleberry avoid being mounted? Van Beethoven moves into full mount! Dingleberry won't be happy about that! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dingleberry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Van Beethoven is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dingleberry can do to turn this around? Van Beethoven lands with an uppercut that bounces Dingleberry off the cage and back into range.

Dingleberry changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Dingleberry throws a right hand that Van Beethoven ducks under and follows up with a left that Van Beethoven also avoids with ease. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Van Beethoven lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dingleberry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dingleberry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Dingleberry swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Van Beethoven misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dingleberry.

Van Beethoven is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dingleberry. Wolfgang Van Beethoven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Van Beethoven misses with an uppercut. Dingleberry blocks a low kick nicely. A jab from Dingleberry misses. Dingleberry moves away from the strike by Van Beethoven . Van Beethoven swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Van Beethoven scores with a nice strike.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Van Beethoven throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. As Van Beethoven backs off Dingleberry throws a huge counter combo but Van Beethoven manages to avoid it all. Dingleberry steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Van Beethoven . That one must have hurt. Van Beethoven takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Dingleberry throws a series of punches but Van Beethoven moves out of range. The fighters circling - Van Beethoven throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A punch combination from Van Beethoven misses. Van Beethoven throws a shot from downtown. Dingleberry moves away and avoids it. Dingleberry drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Van Beethoven defends it well. No, Van Beethoven has managed to get both his arms back between Dingleberry's legs - danger averted. Dingleberry is trying to control the position but Van Beethoven postures up. Dingleberry has control of Van Beethoven 's left arm, preventing Van Beethoven from doing any damage. Van Beethoven is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Wolfgang Van Beethoven is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dingleberry looking to control.

Van Beethoven throws a body shot but no joy. Dingleberry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Van Beethoven moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice straight punches there by Van Beethoven . You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Van Beethoven . Van Beethoven is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Dingleberry swings for the body but Van Beethoven moves out of range.
