Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Palowakski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palowakski comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Burning Down the House kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fred Palowakski will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Palowakski! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor looks for a takedown but Palowakski sprawls well. Taylor is trying hard to land a takedown here. Palowakski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Palowakski controlling the action here for a moment.
Taylor wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Palowakski tries to pull guard but Taylor forces him back to his feet, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Palowakski will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Taylor up against the cage. Palowakski using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Taylor has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Palowakski's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Taylor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Palowakski has him pressed against the cage. Taylor pulls guard successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palowakski wants to stand but Taylor has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Taylor looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Palowakski wants to pass the guard but Taylor is keeping the position. Taylor throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Palowakski escapes and throws Taylor's legs to the side, diving into side control! Taylor misses with a strike from the bottom. Taylor is trying to control Palowakski's posture but Palowakski avoids it. Taylor tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Palowakski is looking to take a break and control but Taylor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Palowakski blocks the strikes from Taylor.
Taylor struggling a bit here. Taylor manages to work his way to half guard, despite Palowakski's best efforts. Palowakski is controlling the pace.
Palowakski is thwarting Taylor's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Palowakski is just content to waste time from the top position. Taylor takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Palowakski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Taylor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Taylor is on top in guard.
Taylor trying to control but Palowakski is working from the bottom. Palowakski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Palowakski seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Taylor wants to control from the top but Palowakski keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Fred Palowakski will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Taylor shoots for a double leg takedown but Palowakski sprawls well. He's pushed Taylor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Palowakski moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Jason Taylor has been cut. Palowakski throws a big shot that misses. Taylor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Palowakski's waist but Palowakski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Taylor off to one side. Palowakski fails with an attempt to clinch.
Taylor walks into a left hand. Jason Taylor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Taylor dives in and grabs Palowakski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Palowakski pushes down on Taylor's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor fails with the takedown. Taylor dives in for a single leg takedown but Palowakski sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Palowakski throws an overhand right that lands on Taylor's shoulder, as Taylor tries to avoid the shot. Taylor shoots in for a takedown but Palowakski shows good takedown defense. Palowakski cracks Taylor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Palowakski tries to clinch up but Taylor circles away and keeps his distance. Taylor half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Palowakski lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Taylor darts in looking for a takedown but Palowakski gets double underhooks and turns Taylor into the cage. Palowakski misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Palowakski to the mat! Palowakski manages to get full guard. Palowakski looking to control.
Taylor won't allow Palowakski to sweep him here. Taylor in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Taylor trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Taylor postures up in Palowakski's guard and throws a big left but Palowakski blocks it. Taylor throws a big elbow that misses. Taylor won't allow Palowakski to sweep him here. Palowakski is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Palowakski keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jason Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Taylor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Palowakski is fending him off so far but Taylor persists. Nope, Palowakski circles away and we're back to standing. Palowakski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Taylor fails with the takedown. Palowakski throws a hook but Taylor blocks it. Palowakski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Taylor has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Palowakski finds it's way round the side to connect with Taylor's head. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Taylor is defended easily by Palowakski. The fight stays on the outside here - Palowakski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Taylor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Palowakski.
Taylor shoots in for a double leg but Palowakski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fred Palowakski seems to be getting the better of the standup. Palowakski fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Taylor. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Taylor goes for a double leg but Palowakski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Palowakski continues to drive forward. Taylor instigates a clinch.

Taylor has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Palowakski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. We've been informed that Palowakski has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Taylor looking for a takedown. Taylor is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Palowakski gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Taylor is working for takedown but Palowakski is calmly controlling the position for now. Taylor is trying to break the clinch but Palowakski is controlling him. Palowakski wants to break free but Taylor has control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Taylor drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Palowakski gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Palowakski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Taylor fails with a takedown attempt. Palowakski lands a nice shot to the body.
Taylor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Palowakski circles away. Taylor darts in and clinches Palowakski up against the cage. Taylor has had enough of the clinch but Palowakski keeps him there for the moment. Taylor tries for a takedown but Palowakski manages to get underhooks.

Fred Palowakski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jason Taylor's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Taylor wants to control from the top but Palowakski keeps moving.

Taylor shoots in but Palowakski avoids the takedown attempt easily. Palowakski forces Taylor back against the cage and clinches. Palowakski lands with a left to the head. That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Palowakski tries to circle away but Taylor has him pinned against the cage. Palowakski fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Taylor presses Palowakski against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Fred Palowakski is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Taylor being controlled here, momentarily. Jason Taylor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Taylor looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Palowakski has picked Taylor up and slammed him! Taylor can't keep hold of the triangle and Palowakski manages to pass to side control!
And that's the end of the fight! Fred Palowakski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Palowakski winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
