Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Osborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trinita Degdag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Degdag changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Osborn tries to avoid it but Degdag manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Osborn to the ground. Osborn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Degdag closes this distance looking for a takedown but Osborn circles away.
Osborn slaps away a takedown attempt from Degdag, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ralph Osborn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trinita Degdag.

and Osborn counters with a nice uppercut.

Degdag shoots in looking for a takedown. Osborn tries to sprawl out of it but Degdag keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Osborn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Osborn ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Osborn no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Osborn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Degdag gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Osborn gets control of Degdag's arms and successfully pulls guard. Osborn will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Osborn scores with a head kick. Degdag tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Osborn drives through and clinches with Degdag against the cage.
Osborn pushes off an throws an elbow but Degdag leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Osborn lands a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Osborn wants to get up but he can't break Degdag's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Degdag is trying to keep Osborn in close.
Osborn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Degdag is trying to control the position but Osborn postures up.
Osborn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Degdag should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Degdag throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Degdag pulls Osborn in close to his closed guard and prevents Osborn from doing any damage or advancing position.
