Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jebidiah Knepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wade Swano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knepp kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Amish Paradise. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jebidiah Knepp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wade Swano! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knepp wants to clinch up but Swano keeps it at a distance. Knepp looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Swano forces Knepp back against the cage and clinches. Knepp wants a takedown but no success here.
Knepp has Swano pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Swano manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jebidiah Knepp. That's going to take a lot out of him. Swano decides to pull guard. Knepp postures up in Swano's guard and throws a big left but Swano blocks it. Swano is trying to control the position but Knepp postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knepp postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Swano is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Knepp, into his guard. Knepp tries to land a sweep but no joy. Knepp keeping moving, preventing Swano from controlling successfully. Swano connects with a couple of short punches. Swano stands up and waves to Knepp to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swano closes this distance looking for a takedown but Knepp circles away. Swano closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Swano seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Knepp looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Swano trying to control the action but Knepp is working from the bottom. Swano stalling. Knepp trying to control but Swano postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swano is stalling here. Knepp is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Swano seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Knepp has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Knepp wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Swano, who protects the arm well. Swano is looking to regain half guard here but Knepp keeps moving and retains side control. Knepp is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Swano has escaped the position, nice work there. Knepp is breathing heavily. Knepp is looking to take a break and control but Swano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swano pushes Knepp away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Knepp gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Swano is looking to reverse the position. Swano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knepp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Knepp thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Knepp trying to control the position but Swano is working away. Knepp stands up and we're back to a striking position. Excellent takedown into side control there by Knepp.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knepp has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Swano is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Knepp yanks on the arm and Swano is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Knepp.
