Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Boloev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yas Uru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruslan Boloev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yas Uru!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boloev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Uru avoids it really well and circles away.
Boloev fails with a takedown attempt.
Boloev misses with a takedown attempt - Uru sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruslan Boloev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boloev tries to score a power double leg takedown but Uru sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boloev somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uru slaps away a takedown attempt from Boloev, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Boloev closes the distance and clinches up with Uru, looking for a takedown. Boloev pushes Uru against the cage but Uru circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boloev dives in for a single leg takedown but Uru sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Uru is pushing Boloev up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Boloev is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Uru is defending well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Boloev is trying to drag Uru to the mat but Uru just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boloev is working for takedown but Uru is calmly controlling the position for now.
Uru pressing his opponent against the cage.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Yas Uru.
Boloev shoots for a double leg takedown but Uru sprawls well. He's pushed Boloev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yas Uru dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Uru tries to bench press Boloev off him but Boloev keeps the position.
Boloev cracks Uru with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Uru is trying to improve his position.
Uru really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boloev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Uru wants to control but Boloev postures up.
Boloev cracks Uru with a big elbow.

Uru is trying to control Boloev's posture but Boloev avoids it.
Uru is looking for a sweep.
Boloev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Uru struggling a bit here.
Boloev tries to advance to mount but can't.

Boloev is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Boloev is putting a hurting on Uru here, landing some big shots from side control.
Boloev grinds an elbow into Uru's temple.

Boloev in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Uru is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
