Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flux with a hook.
Morris shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Flux's guard.
Morris drops back looking for a leg! Flux is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flux manages to kick Morris off! Morris jumps back into Flux's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Flux is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Morris could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Morris is stalling in the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Flux trying to keep a closed guard but Morris is proving a slippery customer.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Flux avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Flux misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Flux dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A left lands for Flux.
Morris's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Flux connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Morris scrambles back to his feet.
Flux sizes up Morris with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Morris takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Flux jabs Morris to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Morris moves in looking to clinch but Flux pushes him off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flux scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Morris doesn't seem bothered though.
Flux cracks Morris with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Morris is rocked!
Dante Flux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flux throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Flux lands with a good body shot.
Flux throws a low kick, looking for Morris's leg but Morris calmly moves out of range.
Morris looks up at the clock. Bad move! Flux lands a right hand from hell, dropping Morris. Flux pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dante Flux!
