Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Plys!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plys gets a clinch.
Plys looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Plys tries to circle away but Mcbride has him pinned against the cage.
Mcbride is pushing Plys up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Mcbride drags the fight down to the ground.
Mcbride looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mcbride lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Mcbride gets to his feet - Plys follows without any prompting.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcbride shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mcbride was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mcbride decides to stand back up. Mcbride steps back and let's Plys get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Plys throws a series of punches but Mcbride avoids them all with ease.
Mcbride closes the distance and clinches.
Plys is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mcbride to keep the fight standing.
Mcbride breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mcbride closes the distance and pushes Plys back into the cage.
Mcbride manages to break the clinch.
Plys throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Plys misses with a takedown attempt
and Mcbride holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mcbride has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Plys uses from the top position.
Mcbride has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Plys doesn't defend quickly enough and Mcbride has managed to lock this one up! Can Plys escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Mcbride on a fantastic submission victory.
