Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AnthonyH Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whonjon William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, AnthonyH Moreno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Whonjon William! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! William throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Moreno closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. William tries to roll over but Moreno keeps him under control. Moreno working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Moreno thows a huge punch but William dodges it nicely.
William is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. William is not content to let Moreno control the position. Moreno missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moreno sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. William defending well though. Moreno scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Moreno thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We've been hearing that Moreno has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Moreno throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. William is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's two minutes gone in the round. William has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moreno can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. William wants to sweep but no luck. Moreno is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Moreno will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Moreno stopping the sweep attempt from William. William lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. William working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Moreno keeping moving, preventing William from controlling successfully. William forces his way into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreno is staying active underneath William, who seems content to just control the action from this position. William moves nicely into side control. William cracks Moreno with a big elbow. Moreno is looking to reverse the position. Moreno has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. William throwing shots but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. William looks up at the clock and then as Moreno takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, William smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Moreno wants to get back to his feet.

William throwing shots but missing, from side control. Moreno is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on William's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. William not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. William performing his best blanket impression for a moment. William seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Whonjon William will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Moreno drops his hands momentarily and William takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. William cracks Moreno with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Moreno throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. William scores with a nice strike. Moreno shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Moreno showed some decent athleticism there. William is trying to maintain the position but Moreno is very close to passing his half guard. William is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Moreno thows a huge punch but William dodges it nicely.
William slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. William striking off his back but it's not causing Moreno any problems.

Moreno drops back looking for a leg! William is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and William manages to kick Moreno off! Moreno jumps back into William's guard. Moreno stopping the sweep attempt from William. Moreno is looking to work some ground and pound but William has wrist control. Moreno looking to sit in guard and control but William gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. William throwing strikes from guard but Moreno blocks nicely. William trying to control but Moreno is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. William looking to pass the guard. Moreno wants to sweep but no luck. William advances to half guard. Moreno looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. William throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. William connects with a nice short shot to Moreno's temple. Moreno blocking the ground and pound attempt from William. William wants to take a breather but Moreno is having none of it. William is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. William missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Moreno trying to control here.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. William fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
AnthonyH Moreno is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. William scores with a hook to the body. Moreno takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. William has been the more effective fighter overall so far. William keeps the fight on the outside. William changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moreno looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. William controls the position. Whonjon William has got the better of the ground game so far. William throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. William working the head with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Whonjon William showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
William feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. William is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. William missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. William stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moreno swivels though and keeps the full guard. William keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Moreno's head. William working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Moreno's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. William stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Moreno has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! William manages to get his head free but now Moreno has transitioned to an armbar! William grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Moreno! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
