Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Gongor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robo Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pope is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ghost - Monstrance Clock. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 27 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robo Pope!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope gets caught flat footed, as Gongor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gongor in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Pope can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gongor controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gongor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pope is keeping the position for now.

Gongor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pope throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Gongor counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Pope looks winded!
Gongor is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
It looks like Robo Pope has been cut.
Gongor trying to move into half guard but instead Pope has managed to sweep!

Pope won't allow Gongor to sweep him here.
Gongor on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gongor tries to get out of the position.
Gongor lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Gongor stands and throws Pope's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gongor stands up.
Pope has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gongor wants to clinch.
Gongor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pope as he avoids it easily.
Gongor shoots in for a double leg but Pope sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gongor looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Robo Pope is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gongor scores with a push kick.
Gongor looks for a takedown but Pope sprawls well.

Gongor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gongor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Gongor lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pope down.

Gongor throws an elbow but Pope slips to the side and avoids it well.
Gongor tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Pope stops Gongor from passing to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gongor slows the pace down.
Pope pushes Gongor away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gongor gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pope wants to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Gongor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pope manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Gongor dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Robo Pope's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gongor wants to clinch up but Pope keeps it at a distance.
Gongor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pope sprawls well. Pope wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gongor gets slowly back to his feet.

Pope leaves Gongor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Gongor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gongor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pope. That did some damage!
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Pope in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Gongor fakes the leg kick and cracks Pope in the body.
Gongor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pope tries to avoid it but Gongor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pope to the ground. Pope escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gongor cracks Pope with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Pope throws a combination that misses
and Gongor counters with a nice right hand that sends Pope toppling to the canvas! Pope scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gongor finish him?!
Pope is rocked!
That has opened up Robo Pope's cut even more.
Gongor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pope can do to turn this around?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gongor shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! Pope is out cold and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Peter Gongor!
As Peter Gongor got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: suck this dick!'.
Robo Pope was interviewed post fight and said 'Vengeance is mine.'.
