Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emory Majors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilkins comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Roy Jones - Can't be touched kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emory Majors!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 31 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Wilkins!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins tries to clinch but Majors moves out of range.
Majors seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Wilkins dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Majors. That did some damage!

It looks like Jay Wilkins has been cut.

Wilkins moves into the clinch.

Wilkins has Majors pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wilkins pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Majors tumbling to the mat - Wilkins dives into Majors's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wilkins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Majors's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Emory Majors.
I think Wilkins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
