Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samak Tiyapairat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Boulks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiyapairat comes into the arena with Ram Muay blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Will Boulks! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Tiyapairat misses. Tiyapairat throws a shot to the body.
Tiyapairat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boulks paws at him with a jab and circles away. Boulks ducks under a wild hook from Tiyapairat. Tiyapairat throws a leg kick but Boulks checks it. Tiyapairat connects with a jab. Tiyapairat tries to clinch but Boulks is having none of it. Tiyapairat dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Tiyapairat instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boulks tries for a takedown but Tiyapairat manages to get underhooks.

No, Tiyapairat has managed to get both his arms back between Boulks's legs - danger averted.
