The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia swings widly with a right hand
and Pettis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pettis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Garcia darts in looking for a takedown but Pettis gets double underhooks and turns Garcia into the cage.
Pettis wants to break free but Garcia has control.
Garcia is trying to pull guard but Pettis turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Pettis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Pettis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Pettis counters with a left and a right that stings Garcia.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
