Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Makoto Nagano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Makoto Nagano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Samuel Duke! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nagano throws a hook but Duke blocks it. Nagano has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ford Lane Fight Factory in the buildup to the fight. Duke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
An attempted straight right counter from Nagano misses the target. Nagano throws a hook to the side of Duke's head but Duke sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nagano shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Duke as he avoids it easily. Duke tries to counter by closing the distance. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Duke tries to bum rush Nagano with a series of wild strikes but Nagano uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nagano shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Duke uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nagano. Duke swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Duke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Duke looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nagano fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A jab from Nagano misses. Nagano closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nagano lands in his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duke working a defensive guard here.
Nagano thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nagano postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Duke is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nagano, into his guard.
Duke is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nagano has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Duke is looking to defend but Nagano has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Duke! Nagano pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Duke taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Makoto Nagano! Makoto Nagano thanked the fans post fight for their support.
