Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between RJ Cherubim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolebor Psikuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolebor Psikuta told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherubim blocks a jab.
Some wild striking there from Psikuta.
Cherubim moves into the clinch.
Cherubim tries a knee to the head but Psikuta blocks it.
Cherubim lands an elbow that stopped Psikuta in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Bolebor Psikuta has been cut.
Psikuta breaks from the clinch.
Psikuta stuffs the takedown attempt from Cherubim. Cherubim gets slowly back to his feet.
Cherubim throws out a leg kick but Psikuta moves out of range and Cherubim only half commits.

That was a close second round but I would say that RJ Cherubim will probably get the nod.

Cherubim's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
