Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sly Stallone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shawn Spencer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sly Stallone! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stallone feints a jab promting Spencer to slip. Stallone then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Spencer slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Spencer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Stallone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stallone takes one to the chin there. Spencer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Stallone checks it well. Spencer jabs at Stallone's body. Spencer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Spencer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A shot to the body from Spencer misses and Stallone moves into the clinch. Spencer managing to block the knees to the body from Stallone.
Stallone is struggling to control the position. Spencer is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Stallone scores with a nice short uppercut. Stallone stalling.
Stallone tries to pull guard but Spencer won't allow it.
Spencer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Stallone's elbow. Stallone lands a left hand.
Spencer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stallone has him pressed against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Stallone.
Spencer swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Stallone blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Stallone blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Stallone jumps guard but Spencer stands there with Stallone around his waist. Stallone gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Spencer tries to throw a body punch but Stallone avoids it by throwing Spencer back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spencer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Stallone takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Stallone fails to pull guard.
Shawn Spencer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sly Stallone. Spencer misses with the head strike.

Stallone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Spencer is defending well for now. A left hand lands to the body for Stallone.
Spencer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Stallone controlling the action here for a moment.
Spencer trying to control the position but instead, Stallone has worked for underhooks and has pushed Spencer into the cage. Spencer avoiding damage as Stallone throws knees to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spencer working hard to break the clinch. Spencer looking to slow down the pace here. Stallone successfully pulls guard.
Our spies down at at NY Warriors inform us that Stallone has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Spencer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Spencer advances to half guard. Spencer is keen to just control but Stallone is a slippery customer. Spencer trying to pass the guard but Stallone defending well. Spencer trying to control from half guard but Stallone is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stallone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Spencer wants to work for an arm triangle but Stallone is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stallone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spencer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Spencer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stallone is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sly Stallone will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Spencer scores with a one two! Stallone had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Spencer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Spencer. Stallone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stallone looks to land a combination. Spencer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Spencer throws a nice head kick!
Spencer just misses with a punch to the body.
Spencer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stallone moves away. Spencer throws a sloppy body shot
and Stallone counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Stallone. Stallone leaning his opponent against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Spencer tries to throw a body punch but Stallone avoids it by throwing Spencer back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stallone lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Spencer is trying to break the clinch but Stallone has him pressed against the cage. Stallone lands with a left to the head. Stallone jumps guard.
Stallone has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Spencer drops back looking for a leg! Stallone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stallone manages to kick Spencer off! Spencer jumps back into Stallone's guard. Spencer works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stallone wants to control but Spencer is keeping busy and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spencer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stallone knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Spencer is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Spencer wants to control the pace but Stallone is squirming around nicely. Stallone is trying to escape the mount but Spencer keeps good control and instead manages to take Stallone's back.
Spencer patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Stallone is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Spencer gets his way!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spencer gets his hands free as Stallone looks to control. Spencer working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Stallone is doing well to defend. Spencer seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Stallone is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Shawn Spencer!
