The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KarelinPalmeiras misses with a head kick.
KarelinPalmeiras tries to clinch there but Hanson circles away.
KarelinPalmeiras gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hanson has KarelinPalmeiras pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hanson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending KarelinPalmeiras tumbling to the mat - Hanson dives into KarelinPalmeiras's guard.
Hanson drops back looking for a leg! KarelinPalmeiras is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and KarelinPalmeiras manages to kick Hanson off! Hanson jumps back into KarelinPalmeiras's guard.
Hanson works a leg free and moves into half guard.

KarelinPalmeiras has his hands clasped together but Hanson extends and breaks KarelinPalmeiras's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hanson.
