Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonny Sellers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Duane Hardy! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sellers lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A decent looking cross lands there for Sellers. Sellers slips a jab from Hardy. Hardy misses with the combination.
Sellers's corner calls for a 1-2. Sellers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A combination from Sellers does no damage. Sellers staying out of range there. Hardy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hardy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sellers. Hardy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hardy showed some decent athleticism there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sellers tries to kick Hardy off but Hardy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ground and pound from Hardy. Hardy looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hardy lands a nice short elbow. Sellers tries to kick Hardy off but Hardy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hardy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sellers is trying to stand.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Hardy missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A telegraphed right hand from Hardy misses the target. Sellers defending well as Hardy loads up on a big left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hardy. Sellers tries to sprawl but Hardy drives through with a takedown into half guard. Sellers is not content to let Hardy control the position. Sellers is looking to escape. Hardy stalling. Sellers looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Sellers is not content to let Hardy control the position. Sellers is trying to stand back up but Hardy is controlling him

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hardy misses with a right hand and Sellers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hardy shoots in for a takedown but Sellers shows good takedown defense. Sellers uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hardy. Sellers throws a series of punches but Hardy avoids them all with ease. Sellers defending well as Hardy loads up on a big left hand. Hardy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sellers napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sellers is trying to get back to his feet. Sellers is breathing heavily. You can see the frustration on Sellers's face as Hardy controls the position. Hardy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hardy works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Hardy prevents Sellers from escaping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sellers moves out of range as Hardy strikes. Hardy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sellers pinned against the cage. Sellers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sellers is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Hardy tries for a takedown but Sellers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hardy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sellers lands a body shot.
Sellers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hardy. Jonny Sellers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duane Hardy. Hardy fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sellers throws a combination. Hardy tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Hardy is breathing heavily. Hardy throws out a loose jab but Sellers uses good head movement to avoid it. and Sellers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Duane Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sellers throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sellers is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Hardy looks for a takedown but Sellers sprawls well. Sellers swinging wildly here.
Hardy throws a jab when Sellers was well out of range. That kick from Sellers tenderised Hardy's leg. Hardy is trying to keep his angry face on. Hardy throws out a loose jab but Sellers uses good head movement to avoid it. Hardy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Sellers slips a straight right by Hardy. Sellers looks to land a combination. Hardy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sellers paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hardy throws a lazy right hand but Sellers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A telegraphed right hand from Hardy misses the target. Sellers ducks under a wild hook from Hardy. Hardy moves forwards but Sellers connects with a nice, crisp jab. Hardy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sellers defends it nicely. Hardy misses with the combination.
Sellers takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Sellers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hardy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Decent striking displayed by Sellers there. Sellers scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Sellers lands with a shot to the body. Hardy might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Hardy fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Sellers ducks under a wild hook from Hardy. Sellers fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hardy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hardy throws an overhand right that lands on Sellers's shoulder, as Sellers tries to avoid the shot. Hardy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hardy throws a hook but Sellers avoids it easily. Hardy throws a jab but it's blocked by Sellers. Hardy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sellers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sellers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sellers lands with a right hand. A jab from Sellers misses. Sellers moves out of range as Hardy strikes. Hardy drops his hands momentarily and Sellers takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy misses with a left hand and Sellers counters with a series of strikes. Hardy will be more careful next time no doubt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sellers scores with a nice strike. Jonny Sellers is winning the standup battle so far. Hardy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hardy throwing strikes from guard but Sellers blocks nicely. Hardy looking to pass the guard. Sellers keeping moving, preventing Hardy from controlling successfully. Hardy won't allow Sellers to get back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sellers blocks a jab. Sellers looks to score with a jab to the body but Hardy is just out of range. Sellers slips a straight right by Hardy. A jab from Sellers does it's job there. Hardy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sellers's guard. Hardy controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Duane Hardy has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hardy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sellers keeping moving, preventing Hardy from controlling successfully. Hardy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sellers manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Hardy breaks the clinch.
Hardy looks to land a right hand but Sellers moved out of range. Jonny Sellers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fighters circling - Sellers throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hardy shoots in for a takedown but Sellers shows good takedown defense. Sellers defending well as Hardy loads up on a big left hand. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sellers.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sellers changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Sellers keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hardy.
