Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Sajewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Funkyama comes to the cage accompanied by . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Lukasz Sajewski!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing reports that Funkyama has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Funkyama has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sajewski finds it's way round the side to connect with Funkyama's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Funkyama seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sajewski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lukasz Sajewski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lukasz Sajewski was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
