Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justus Sheehan Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jenkins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mary Jane. Sheehan Jr has chosen Go Get it as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thurgood Jenkins! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justus Sheehan Jr! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sheehan Jr throws a head kick that misses and Jenkins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Justus Sheehan Jr has been cut. Sheehan Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Sheehan Jr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sheehan Jr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Good shot there by Sheehan Jr. Sheehan Jr throws a lazy head kick and Jenkins counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sheehan Jr takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Jenkins keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A lazy body kick from Sheehan Jr and Jenkins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sheehan Jr won't be happy with that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jenkins tries to advance to mount but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jenkins goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sheehan Jr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jenkins but great work by Sheehan Jr. Sheehan Jr wants to stand but Jenkins is controlling his arm. Jenkins struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sheehan Jr trying to control the position but Jenkins is working away. Jenkins is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Jenkins is trying to get back to full guard. Sheehan Jr tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jenkins controls his leg. Jenkins has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Jenkins is trying to get back to full guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jenkins manages to get to full guard.
Sheehan Jr postures up in Jenkins's guard and throws a big left but Jenkins blocks it. Jenkins is trying to keep Sheehan Jr in close.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sheehan Jr throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Jenkins feinted with a counter takedown. Sheehan Jr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jenkins throws out the jab. Jenkins checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Sheehan Jr keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jenkins shoots in looking for a takedown but Sheehan Jr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jenkins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sheehan Jr takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jenkins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sheehan Jr defends it nicely. Jenkins slips a jab and a cross from Sheehan Jr.
Sheehan Jr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jenkins misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Sheehan Jr counters with a body kick. Sheehan Jr misses with the combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sheehan Jr lands a jab to the nose. Jenkins misses with a two punch combination.
Sheehan Jr lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sheehan Jr moves out of range of the strikes. Sheehan Jr takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jenkins connects with the punch. Sheehan Jr misses with a head kick.

Sheehan Jr tries to keep at a distance but Jenkins has taken the fight into the clinch. Sheehan Jr gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jenkins.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Justus Sheehan Jr will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Justus Sheehan Jr's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jenkins fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sheehan Jr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jenkins takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jenkins lands a really nice looking cross but Sheehan Jr seems unphased.
Sheehan Jr cracks Jenkins with an open hand slap. Jenkins slips under a jab. Jenkins misses with a kick to the body.
Sheehan Jr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jenkins. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sheehan Jr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jenkins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jenkins connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Sheehan Jr uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jenkins has time to react.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins with a jab. Sheehan Jr throws a shot from downtown. Jenkins moves away and avoids it. Sheehan Jr shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Sheehan Jr lands a jab-cross combination. Jenkins on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jenkins is rocked! Sheehan Jr finds Jenkins's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Jenkins flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Sheehan Jr lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Jenkins will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Justus Sheehan Jr! Justus Sheehan Jr is the new bantamweight champion! Justus Sheehan Jr took some time post fight to say the following; 'I think its bout time people recognize me for the Killer that I am.
