Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dorsey Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Gruden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gruden has chosen Yayo - Snootie as his entrance music. Jorge Gruden is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dorsey Morris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorge Gruden! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gruden throws a looping overhand right but Morris ducks down to avoid it. Gruden thumps Morris with a low kick. Morris fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gruden, pushing him back against the cage. Morris is trying to pull guard but Gruden has him pressed against the cage. Morris pulls guard. Gruden stops Morris from standing up. Morris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gruden defends well. Gruden must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Morris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gruden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morris keeping moving, preventing Gruden from controlling successfully. Morris could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morris is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morris seems keen to control Gruden's posture. Morris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gruden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gruden stopping the sweep attempt from Morris. Gruden trying to control but Morris is working from the bottom. Morris throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Morris wants to improve his position but instead Gruden has moved into half guard.
Gruden wants to control but Morris is keeping him busy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Some bone on bone action there as Morris checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Gruden connects with a leg kick. Morris looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Gruden buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gruden throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Morris sees it coming and avoids it easily. Morris moves out of range of the body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gruden defends it nicely. Gruden thuds a left hand into Morris's body. Gruden moves into range and clinches up with Morris. Gruden with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Dorsey Morris has been cut. Gruden will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Morris up against the cage. Gruden lands an elbow inside that Morris shrugs off. Gruden gets through Morris's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Morris tries to score a body lock takedown but Gruden shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dorsey Morris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morris is breathing heavily. Gruden tries to land a knee to the head but Morris blocks with his arms.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gruden is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Gruden trying to land knees to the body.

Gruden is trying to stall.
Morris wants to take the fight to the mat but Gruden manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Gruden missing with knees to the body.

Gruden just leaning against Morris, taking a breather. Morris has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gruden after a bit of a struggle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gruden trying to land knees to the body.
Morris takes an elbow to the forehead. Gruden lands an elbow inside that Morris shrugs off. Morris has Gruden pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gruden manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jorge Gruden dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dorsey Morris's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Morris gets tackled into the cage by Gruden. Gruden maintains the clinch. A knee to the head by Gruden.
Morris goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gruden prevents it.

Morris tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gruden smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dorsey Morris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gruden getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gruden darts in and clinches Morris up against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Gruden - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Morris jumps guard but Gruden turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Gruden holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Gruden lands an elbow just above Morris 's eye. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gruden misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Morris.

Gruden is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Morris takes an elbow to the temple. Morris on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Gruden has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gruden is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Morris is defending well for now.

Gruden gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Gruden's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Gruden works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Morris is rocked! Gruden lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Oh Morris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gruden lands an elbow that stopped Morris in his tracks for a moment. Gruden jerks Morris's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Morris drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Gruden goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Gruden because Morris was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
