PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahboobullah Muhammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riddick comes to the cage accompanied by Ture Nature by Jane's Addiction. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Riddick has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Riddick thuds his right hand into Muhammad's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Riddick is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Muhammad drops his hands momentarily. Riddick doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Muhammad staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Muhammad doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Richard Riddick is the new super heavyweight champion!
Richard Riddick decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
