Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Berdich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davidson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, August Burns Red - Meridian. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Berdich! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davidson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Berdich takes a step back to recover. That kick from Davidson tenderised Berdich's leg. Berdich is trying to keep his angry face on. Berdich closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Berdich fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Davidson has one of Berdich's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davidson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Berdich asserts his dominance and retains side control. Berdich postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Davidson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Berdich wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davidson is trying to get back to his feet. Davidson is looking for a sweep. The strikes coming from Berdich are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Davidson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Berdich working the ground and pound but Davidson is defending the strikes. Davidson is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Davidson is trying to improve his position.

Berdich in side control lands a decent elbow. Berdich throwing shots but missing, from side control. Berdich prevents Davidson from escaping the position. Davidson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Davidson wants to control but Berdich postures up. Berdich is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Davidson tries to kick Berdich off but Berdich keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Berdich not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Berdich is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Berdich seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Berdich looks to land a strike but Davidson avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Davidson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Berdich is controlling him. Berdich throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Berdich looking to pass the guard. Berdich scoring with some ground and pound. Berdich trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Berdich loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Berdich in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Berdich passes easily into side control. Nice work. Check out the look on Berdich's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Davidson is rocked! Berdich wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Davidson, who protects the arm well. Oh Davidson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Berdich working the ground and pound from side control. Berdich in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Davidson looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Berdich turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
