Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Aristides Leopoldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Majstor Zivota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leopoldo comes into the arena with Carmina Burana - Carl Orff blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pedro Aristides Leopoldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Majstor Zivota! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leopoldo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Leopoldo throws a right hand that misses
and Zivota counters with a nice double leg into side control. Leopoldo won't be happy with that. Leopoldo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Zivota working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Leopoldo tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leopoldo regains half guard. Leopoldo is looking for a sweep. Zivota is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zivota performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Leopoldo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Leopoldo. Leopoldo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Zivota looking to pass the guard. Zivota trying to control the position from guard on top but Leopoldo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leopoldo trying to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Leopoldo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Leopoldo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Zivota uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Leopoldo.
Zivota closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Zivota drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Leopoldo defends it well. We've been told by Leopoldo's head coaches at Weed Nation that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Zivota tries to clinch but Leopoldo moves out of range. Zivota throws a right and a left that both miss. Leopoldo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pedro Aristides Leopoldo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice uppercut lands for Leopoldo. That snapped Zivota's head back.
Zivota takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Zivota doesn't succeed with the takedown and Leopoldo moves into the clinch. Leopoldo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Leopoldo lands a right hook to the body.
Leopoldo lands a nice hook to Zivota's body. Zivota takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Leopoldo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Leopoldo takes a swing at Zivota's ribcage but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Leopoldo looks to land a combination. Zivota sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Leopoldo keeps the fight on the outside. Leopoldo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Leopoldo scores with a hook to the body. Zivota takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Leopoldo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Leopoldo getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Leopoldo misses with a body shot.
Zivota blocks a jab. Leopoldo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And Zivota tries to counter it with a takedown but Leopoldo pushes his down on his head and steps out. Zivota shoots in but Leopoldo avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pedro Aristides Leopoldo dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Zivota's coach down at The Fortress of Solitude was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Zivota's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Pedro Aristides Leopoldo is winning the standup battle so far. Leopoldo lands a jab to Zivota's midsection. Zivota tries to close the distance and clinch but Leopoldo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Zivota looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Donk. Leopoldo catches Zivota right on the button with a cross. Leopoldo connects with a body shot that sends Zivota's belly button to the back. Leopoldo cracks Zivota with a right hand to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leopoldo connects with a body shot. Leopoldo connects with a right that clearly hurt Zivota. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Leopoldo proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Zivota collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pedro Aristides Leopoldo! As Pedro Aristides Leopoldo got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Mixed Martial Arts is the ultimate challenge.
