Richie cracks Tupper with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Richie lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tupper's sensitive parts.
Richie scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Richie stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Richie tries to stall but Tupper uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Richie bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Richie turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Richie throws a sloppy head kick and Tupper moves out of range easily.
Tupper throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Richie.

Tupper is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Tupper wants to clinch up but Richie keeps it at a distance.

Tupper tries to bum rush Richie with a series of wild strikes but Richie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tupper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Richie tries to counter by clinching up but Tupper breaks away and moves out of range.

Tupper connects with a looping right hand.

and Richie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Richie lands a nice uppercut.
Tupper is still on wobbly legs! Can Richie finish him?
A quick uppercut on the inside from Richie.
Richie lands with a right to the head.
Richie just leaning against Tupper, taking a breather.
Richie keeps control of Tupper as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Richie lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Tupper to his knees! Richie keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Lionel Richie bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
