Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Ostrowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon's entrance music is All Summer Long. A fine choice. Ostrowski has chosen PC Park - Klatka as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buddy Brandon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Krzysztof Ostrowski! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ostrowski moves into the clinch. Ostrowski is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Brandon working hard to break the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Ostrowski tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Ostrowski throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Brandon blocks it with crossed arms. Ostrowski with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Brandon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ostrowski fails in his attempt to clinch. Brandon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Ostrowski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brandon shoots in and drives through. Ostrowski sprawls well. And Ostrowski tries to counter it with a takedown but Brandon pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ostrowski lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ostrowski tightens his grip and picks Brandon up, before dumping him to the ground. Brandon manages to land in guard. Ostrowski lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ostrowski landing some decent shots from guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ostrowski throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandon keeping moving, preventing Ostrowski from controlling successfully. Ostrowski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brandon's head. Brandon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Brandon is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Ostrowski prevents Brandon from getting back to his feet. Ostrowski working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Brandon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Brandon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ostrowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ostrowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. My spies in Weed Nation inform me that Ostrowski has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Ostrowski postures up in Brandon's guard and throws a big left but Brandon blocks it. Brandon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ostrowski is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brandon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brandon has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Brandon wants to get up but he can't break Ostrowski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Brandon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ostrowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brandon has managed to get both his arms back between Ostrowski's legs - danger averted. Ostrowski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brandon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ostrowski keeping moving, preventing Brandon from controlling successfully. Ostrowski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ostrowski has his foot on Brandon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brandon works his way back into a safe position though. Brandon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ostrowski is proving hard to escape from. Ostrowski wants to hit a switch here but Brandon passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ostrowski there! Ostrowski is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ostrowski tries to improve his position but instead Brandon has taken his back! Brandon looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Ostrowski tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Ostrowski tries to improve his position but Brandon has taken his back! Brandon has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Ostrowski tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Brandon pushes Ostrowski away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Buddy Brandon! Our winner, Buddy Brandon, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
