Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Mark Addison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance De Ropp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lance De Ropp!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Ropp tries to clinch there but Addison circles away.

De Ropp misses with a head kick.
Addison looks to land a left hand but De Ropp moved out of range nicely.
De Ropp takes a shot right to the bread basket.
De Ropp has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Addison finds it's way round the side to connect with De Ropp's head.
It looks like Lance De Ropp has been cut.
Addison clinches up with De Ropp and pushes him back against the ropes.

I was talking to Addison's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
De Ropp using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Addison has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
De Ropp trying to control the position but instead, Addison has worked for underhooks and has pushed De Ropp into the ropes.
Addison throws a blind hook that connects with the side of De Ropps head.

De Ropp tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
De Ropp pushes Addison back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Addison fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

De Ropp tries to land a knee to the head but Addison blocks with his arms.

Addison creates a bit of distance and cracks De Ropp with a big uppercut! De Ropp goes down! The referee pushes Addison away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will De Ropp make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Addison takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Mark Addison!
