Collasus comes to the cage accompanied by Darker Side. Piechnicki has chosen Shantel - Disko Partizani as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Piechnicki as Collasus shoots in.
Collasus shoots in and gets a takedown into Piechnicki's guard.
Collasus trying to control the position from guard on top but Piechnicki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Collasus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Collasus postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Piechnicki is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Collasus, into his guard.
Piechnicki stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Collasus throws up his legs and catches Piechnicki in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Piechnicki tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Collasus! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Gabriel Collasus!
