Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshimo Sakamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Sugarol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiroshimo Sakamoto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hiroshimo Sakamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sammy Sugarol! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakamoto lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Sakamoto lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sugarol takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Sakamoto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sakamoto slips under a jab from Sugarol. Sugarol lunges at Sakamoto with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sakamoto's hand. Sakamoto swings and misses with a shot to the body and Sugarol counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Sakamoto throws a nice looking combination but Sugarol bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sakamoto throws a right hand that misses
and Sugarol counters with a straight right hand. Sugarol stuffs the takedown. Sakamoto misses with a body kick. Sakamoto swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Sugarol to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Hiroshimo Sakamoto has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sugarol slips a jab from Sakamoto. Sakamoto sizes up Sugarol with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sakamoto looks to score with a jab to the body but Sugarol is just out of range. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sugarol checks a leg kick. Sugarol chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sakamoto can pounce on him.
Sugarol uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sakamoto.
Sakamoto connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Sugarol cracks Sakamoto with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Sugarol takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A little jabbing left from Sugarol on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Sugarol uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sakamoto. Sakamoto misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sugarol.
Sakamoto waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sugarol. Sugarol stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sakamoto. Sammy Sugarol is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A bone on bone clash there as Sugarol blocks the leg kick.
Hiroshimo Sakamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sugarol ducks under a wild hook from Sakamoto. Sugarol is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Sakamoto with a body shot. A swing and a miss from Sakamoto. Sugarol digs a good body shot into Sakamoto's ribs. Sakamoto scores with a leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sakamoto. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sugarol uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sakamoto. Sakamoto fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Sakamoto lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sugarol at a distance.
Sakamoto pushes Sugarol away with a front kick. Sugarol connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Sakamoto slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Sakamoto misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Sugarol to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sakamoto misses the body punch and Sugarol makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Sakamoto throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sugarol appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Sugarol gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sugarol is rocked! Sakamoto lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Sugarol is still on wobbly legs! Can Sakamoto finish him? Sakamoto lands a huge takedown. Sugarol is out but the ref is slow to react and Sakamoto lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Sugarol lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiroshimo Sakamoto! Our winner, Hiroshimo Sakamoto, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
