Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moshe Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Rovljej (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Moshe Maxwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yuri Rovljej! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooh!!! Rovljej has knocked Maxwell down with a huge combo! Rovljej steps away and waves a wobbly Maxwell back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Moshe Maxwell has been cut. Rovljej gets in close and instigates a clinch. A nice left hand lands by Rovljej.
Rovljej drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rovljej throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Rovljej is striking off his back. Maxwell thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Rovljej looking for submissions off his back. Rovljej striking from half guard on the bottom. Rovljej looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rovljej keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Maxwell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rovljej on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rovljej moves into full guard.
Rovljej has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rovljej manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Maxwell manages to get himself to full guard.
Maxwell has momentary wrist control but Rovljej slips an elbow through the middle. Rovljej in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rovljej scoring with punches to the head and body. Maxwell looking for a sweep. Not yet Maxwell, not yet. Rovljej throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Maxwell works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Maxwell has momentary wrist control but Rovljej slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maxwell has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rovljej has passed into side control.
Rovljej is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Maxwell has escaped the position, nice work there. Maxwell tries to buck Rovljej off but Rovljej is having none of it. Maxwell regains half guard there - taking advantage of Rovljej's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Rovljej working Maxwell over with strikes. Rovljej lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rovljej connects with a nice short shot to Maxwell's temple. Rovljej working the head and body with strikes. Maxwell taking some punishment here, with Rovljej in his half guard. Rovljej looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Maxwell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Maxwell is rocked! Rovljej lands a big elbow - Maxwell is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Rovljej!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuri Rovljej!
