Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Punter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Thug!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thug scoring well with a low kick there.
Punter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thug pinned against the cage. Thug gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Thug lands with a thumping leg kick.
Punter tries to clinch but Thug moves out of range.
Thug throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Punter swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Punter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thug is fending him off so far but Punter persists. Nope, Thug circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice straight punches there by Thug. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Thug.
Punter has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Pitbull MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Chris Punter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Punter throws a sloppy body shot
and Thug counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thug misses with a body shot.
Thug swats away the attempt to clinch by Punter.
Punter tries to clinch there but Thug circles away.

Punter shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Thug keeping hold of Punter's head, controlling as best he can.
Thug looks like he's trying to stand up.

Punter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Punter throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Thug to regain full guard.

Thug wants to stand but Punter is controlling the position.
Punter stands up over Thug, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Punter throws an elbow that misses. Thug uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Punter's guard. Nice move by Thug!

Thug trying to stand up but can't free himself from Punter's guard.
Punter controls Thug momentarily but Thug frees himself.
Thug gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Punter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thug as he avoids it easily.
Thug throws a fast counter high kick but Punter manages to duck under it in time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Punter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thug knocks Punter to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Chris Punter has been cut.
Punter regains half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thug stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Punter avoids the body shot from Thug.
Punter moves in looking to clinch but Thug pushes him off.
Punter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thug but Thug pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Thug lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Thug lands a hook to the side of the head.
Thug trying to stall but Punter improves his position.
Punter misses with the head strike.
Punter fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Thug breaks the clinch.
Punter moves into range and clinches up with Thug.
Punter has a couple of punches blocked by Thug.
A head punch on the inside from Punter fails to land.
Punter doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Thug stalls.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Thug creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Thug misses with a knee strike.
Punter lands an uppercut.
Punter misses with a hook from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Thug dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Chris Punter's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Punter shoots for a double leg takedown but Thug sprawls well. He's pushed Punter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Thug scores with a head kick. Punter tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A left and a right from Punter both land. Nice combination.
Thug throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Punter tumbling to the canvas!
Punter is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thug gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Oh Punter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Punter has his takedown stuffed
and Thug counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Thug controlling the action here for a moment.
Thug lands a nice knee to the body.
A bit of stalling here from Thug.
Punter seems to have got his legs back now.
Thug breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Andy Thug seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Punter tries to clinch up
and Thug counters with a huge left! Punter is in big trouble! He's backing up but Thug isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Punter from any more damage. A dominating finish by Thug!
