Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between JJ Lycka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sniper One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JJ Lycka!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sniper One!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lycka avoids the head kick by One.
Lycka doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lycka tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but One defends well and Lycka ends up having to push One into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
One escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lycka dives in and grabs One's left leg, looking for a takedown. One pushes down on Lycka's head and hops out.
One lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
One dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lycka takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
One slaps away a takedown attempt from Lycka, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JJ Lycka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
One fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lycka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lycka misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
One thuds his shin into the meat of Lycka's side.
Lycka is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lycka shoots in looking for a takedown. One tries to sprawl out of it but Lycka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. One manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

One circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Lycka drops to the canvas, hurt badly! One follows Lycka to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
