Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tom Franks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hai Howru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Franks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tom Franks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hai Howru! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franks misses with a series of wild punches.
Franks jabs at Howru's body. Sloppy strikes from Franks. Those never looked like landing. Howru takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Franks lands with a shot to the body. Howru misses with a looping left. Howru shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Franks as he avoids it easily. Franks feints a jab promting Howru to slip. Franks then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Howru slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Franks connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Franks throws the left hand but Howru avoids the punch easily. Howru closes the distance and clinches. Howru creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Howru misses with an elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Franks is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Howru gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Franks has Howru pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Franks pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Howru tumbling to the mat - Franks dives into Howru's guard. Howru has his foot on Franks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Franks works his way back into a safe position though. Howru keeping full guard, as Franks tries to pass. Franks trying to control but Howru is working from the bottom. Franks tries to free his leg and advance position but Howru is retaining full guard. Howru has a closed guard, preventing Franks from standing up. Franks trying to control the position from guard on top but Howru is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Franks is really struggling to control Howru but he's trying to hold on to the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Howru wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Franks ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Howru throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Howru shoots in and drives through. Franks sprawls well. Tom Franks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Howru finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Franks's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Howru falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Franks! Tom Franks tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
