Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colt Manning!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josef Fritzl!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manning tries to clinch but Fritzl is having none of it.
Fritzl shoots in for a double leg but Manning sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Manning throws a left that rocks Fritzl and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Manning dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Fritzl regain composure!
It looks like Josef Fritzl has been cut.
Fritzl is looking for a sweep.
Fritzl wants to control but Manning postures up.
Fritzl gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Manning tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Fritzl.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manning trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Manning knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fritzl on the ground.
Fritzl trying to hold on to Manning's head to control him but Manning postures up.
Manning seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Manning throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Manning cracks Fritzl with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Manning has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Fritzl to stand back up!
Fritzl is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Manning knocks Fritzl out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Colt Manning!
