Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mustafa Shabazz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Reid Richards!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shabazz sprawls well. Shabazz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Richards gets slowly back to his feet.
Shabazz walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Richards checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Richards has managed to clinch.
Richards wants to break the clinch but can't.
Richards stalling.
Richards changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Shabazz fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Richards tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Shabazz defends well and Richards ends up having to push Shabazz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mustafa Shabazz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reid Richards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shabazz has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Richards after a bit of a struggle.

Richards prevents a takedown attempt there.
Richards changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Shabazz fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Richards clinches up with Shabazz and pushes him back against the cage.
Shabazz wants to take the fight to the mat but Richards manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Shabazz is trying to drag Richards to the mat but Richards just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Shabazz is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Richards pulls guard.
Shabazz stands and throws Richards's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Shabazz takes a little break here. Richards wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Richards is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Shabazz's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Shabazz! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Richards has tapped! This one is allllll over!

Mustafa Shabazz decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
