Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuff feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Scherer is still trying to improve position.
Scherer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tuff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tuff throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Scherer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tuff looking to pass the guard.
Tuff drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Scherer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tuff has Scherer in his guard.
Scherer postures up in Tuff's guard and throws a big left but Tuff blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tuff looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Scherer is defending well. Tuff quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Scherer has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Tuff celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
