And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Albert Fish!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish throws out a powerful jab.
Silva looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A combination from Fish does no damage.
Fish throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fish dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fish misses with an uppercut.
Fish stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fish as he avoids it easily.
As Silva backs off Fish throws a huge counter combo but Silva manages to avoid it all.
Fish fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fish sprawls and moves away.

Silva looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva tries to pass to full mount but Fish defends it.
Fish wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Fish is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Silva is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Silva has control of Fish's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fish regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fish really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fish wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Silva is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Fish has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Silva has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Fish taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Silva doesn't care though - he's delighted!
