Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Aisa catches Blackwell right on the button with a cross.
Aisa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blackwell.
Melcone Aisa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aisa connects with the punch.
Aisa fails to land with a series of punches.
A left lands for Blackwell.
Aisa throws a jab when Blackwell was well out of range.
Blackwell scores with a leg kick.
A big right from Aisa misses.
Blackwell tries to counter by clinching up but Aisa breaks away and moves out of range.
Blackwell feints and then cracks Aisa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aisa down.
Blackwell connects with a leg kick. Aisa looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Aisa blocks a head kick by Blackwell.
Aisa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blackwell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Blackwell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Aisa.
Blackwell is looking for a counter combo.
Aisa cracks the inside of Blackwell's front leg.
Blackwell throws a head kick that Aisa semi-blocks.
Blackwell bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Aisa cracks Blackwell with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Blackwell tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Aisa pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Blackwell is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Melcone Aisa!
Our winner, Melcone Aisa, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
