The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Regalado.
Mihalev showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Regalado.
Mihalev misses with an uppercut. Regalado saw that one coming.
Mihalev throws a leg kick but Regalado moved away.
Regalado lands a lovely overhand right.
Mihalev takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Regalado misses with a body shot.
Mihalev pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Regalado throws out a counter right but Mihalev avoids it with no problem.
Regalado cracks Mihalev with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Regalado has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mihalev to stand back up!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Regalado misses with a hook. Mihalev ducked under it nicely.
Regalado takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Refugio Regalado has been cut.
Mihalev closes the distance looking to clinch
and Regalado scores with a counter punch that sends Mihalev to the canvas! Regalado smells blood - he's punishing Mihalev with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Mihalev has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Refugio Regalado!
