The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba shoots in but Dillinger avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sakuraba misses with a takedown
and Dillinger counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've been told by Dillinger's head coaches at [CBK] Punch-kicker Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sakuraba looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dillinger is looking for a sweep. Sakuraba is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
