Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kekoa Konani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pask Tuuletin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konani comes to the cage accompanied by Hawaii '78. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pask Tuuletin! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Konani shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Konani was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Konani wants to control but Tuuletin is keeping him busy. Konani has hold of Tuuletin's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tuuletin tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Konani cranks the arm and Tuuletin screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tuuletin, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kekoa Konani! During a confident post fight interview, Kekoa Konani thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
