Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Drake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mikiya Hayashida! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayashida moves away from the strike by Drake. Drake moves into the clinch. Hayashida is trying to break the clinch but Drake is controlling him. Hayashida throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Drake blocks it with crossed arms. Hayashida is trying to push Drake away but Drake has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Drake lands a nice uppercut. Drake prevents Hayashida from breaking the clinch. Drake prevents Hayashida from breaking the clinch. Hayashida throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Drake blocks it with crossed arms. Nice elbow from Drake. Hayashida is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hayashida misses with a knee strike.

Drake keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hayashida's efforts to push away. Hayashida is trying to break the clinch but Drake is controlling him. Drake lands a body punch in the clinch. A shot in the inside from Drake. Drake lands an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Hayashida wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Drake creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hayashida's defenses.
It looks like Mikiya Hayashida has been cut. Drake lands an elbow inside that Hayashida shrugs off. Drake scores with an uppercut up the middle. Drake has Hayashida pressed against the cage, preventing Hayashida from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hayashida wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Drake has him pressed against the cage. Hayashida looking to throw knees to the head but Drake is blocking nicely.
Drake lands an elbow inside that Hayashida shrugs off. Drake lands a big right hand that drops Hayashida! The killer instinct kicks in and Drake finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Drake!
