Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes to the cage accompanied by Run this Town. Quinn has chosen 99 Problems as his entrance music. Shawn Carter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cyrus Quinn's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cyrus Quinn! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn rushes Carter and presses him up against the cage. Carter wants to stall.
Carter avoids the elbow strike from Quinn, against the cage.
Quinn wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.
Carter connects with a nasty looking knee right to Quinn's face.
It looks like Cyrus Quinn has been cut. Carter lands a damaging elbow. Both fighters working to control the clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Quinn just misses with a elbow thrown towards Carter's brow. Carter landing knees to the head.

With the fighters up against the cage, Carter throws an elbow but misses. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Carter takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Quinn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Carter darts in trying to clinch and Quinn counters by moving into the clinch. Carter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Quinn circles away from the clinch attempt and Quinn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Quinn. Carter wants to stand but Quinn is controlling the position. Carter is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Quinn dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter wants to get back to his feet but Quinn drags him back down. Quinn tries to move to mount but Carter blocks the move with his legs. Quinn content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Quinn stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Carter wants to clinch and Quinn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Quinn. Carter dodges an elbow strike from Quinn.
Carter throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Quinn blocks it with crossed arms. The is referee keeping an eye on Carter - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Carter lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Quinn pushes off an fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Quinn has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Carter avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Quinn looks gassed! Quinn is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Carter. Carter blocks the elbow strike.
Carter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A combination from Carter does no damage. Shawn Carter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter wants to clinch but Quinn slips to the side and Quinn counters with a big head kick but Carter shrugs it off. Carter closes the distance looking to clinch and Quinn counters with a one-two to the body. Quinn drops his hands momentarily and Carter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Carter tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Quinn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Quinn. Quinn comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Quinn has had enough of the clinch but Carter keeps him there for the moment. Carter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Carter clinches but Quinn breaks the clinch and Quinn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Carter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Quinn wants to clinch up but Carter keeps it at a distance. Carter is looking to clinch but Quinn is avoiding it.
Quinn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Carter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Carter misses with the combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quinn swats away the attempt to clinch by Carter. Carter darts in trying to clinch and Quinn counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Carter works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Carter darts in trying to clinch and Quinn counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Carter! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Quinn tries to control but Carter wriggling away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Carter wants to get back to his feet.

Cyrus Quinn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cyrus Quinn's cut. That's time! Carter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Carter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A head kick from Quinn lands but Carter takes it in his stride.
It looks like Shawn Carter has been cut. Quinn throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Carter's head. Quinn fails to land the takedown. Quinn rushes Carter and presses him up against the cage. Carter lands a hook that snaps the head of Quinn backwards. Carter dodges an elbow strike from Quinn.

Quinn feints and as Carter raises his hands in defense, Quinn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Quinn wants to control from the top but Carter keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carter is looking to stand up but Quinn isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Carter wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Quinn manages to pass to side control. Carter is looking to escape. Carter pushes Quinn off but Quinn dives into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter bucks up and tries to throw Quinn off but instead Quinn has got his back! Quinn controls the position. Carter controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Carter trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. I would not like to be Carter right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cyrus Quinn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Carter tries to clinch but fails miserably and Carter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Carter tries to clinch up and Quinn counters with a series of strikes. Carter will be more careful next time no doubt. Quinn throws a sloppy head kick and Carter moves out of range easily. Carter scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quinn misses with a double jab.

Carter tries to clinch and Quinn counters with a shoot takedown. Carter fights it but they end up in guard. Carter wants to stand up but Quinn is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quinn content to stall in guard here. Carter wants to stand up but Quinn is controlling him. Quinn stands and steps away. Carter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Carter throws a right and a left that both miss. Quinn shoots in for a double leg but Carter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Carter tries to clinch up and Quinn counters with a two punch combo.
Shawn Carter's cut is getting worse. Quinn throws a head kick that misses. Carter's corner calls for a 1-2. Carter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Carter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Quinn, pushing him back against the cage. Quinn jumps guard but Carter stands there with Quinn around his waist. Quinn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Carter is pressed up against the cage. Quinn has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carter down to the mat. Carter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Shawn Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyrus Quinn. Carter closes the distance but Quinn moves to the side and Quinn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Quinn. Quinn trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom. Cyrus Quinn has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quinn controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Shawn Carter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carter working for a triangle but Quinn defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Cyrus Quinn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Quinn winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
