The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson clinches up against the cage.

Steel has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Johnson seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Steel can turn it around.

Johnson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Steel momentarily.

Johnson closes the distance and pushes Steel back into the cage.

That has opened up Alex Steel's cut even more.
Johnson tries a body shot but Steel blocks it.
Steel pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Steel lands a nice uppercut.
Johnson lands a hook to the side of the head.


Steel is rocked!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Steel.
Steel is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Johnson throws a big uppercut that drops Steel! More strikes from Johnson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Steel lies dazed against the cage as Johnson celebrates with his cornermen!

Chubby Johnson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
