Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miquel Mcintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Curad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curad lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mcintosh circles away quickly and effectively.
Curad misses with a jab, cross combination.

Curad clinches up with Mcintosh and pushes him back against the cage.
Curad is trying to break free.
Curad wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mcintosh has him pressed against the cage.

Curad has hold of one of Mcintosh's legs. Mcintosh is fighting the takedown attempt but Curad gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Mcintosh is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Curad looking to sit in guard and control but Mcintosh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Curad is looking to stand up but Mcintosh isn't so interested in that idea.
Curad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcintosh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Mcintosh counters with a good, hard body kick but Curad shrugs it off.
Curad swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Curad defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mcintosh.

Curad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcintosh, pushing him back against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mcintosh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Curad connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mcintosh's hands.

It looks like Miquel Mcintosh has been cut.
