The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tigh swings for the body but Ferds moves out of range.
Tigh misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tigh lands a nice shot to the body.
Tigh misses with a lunging right hand
and Tigh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tigh just misses with a punch to the body.
Tigh cracks Ferds with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ferds looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Tigh finish him?
It looks like Doc Ferds has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tigh swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tigh throws a right hand that Ferds ducks under and follows up with a left that Ferds also avoids with ease.
Ferds shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tigh but Tigh pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tigh misses with a lunging right hand
and Ferds counters with a nice body shot.
Tigh cracks Ferds with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Saul Tigh!
A less than humble Saul Tigh misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
