And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le has his takedown stuffed
and Hughs counters with a slapping leg kick.
Le with a poor takedown
and Hughs makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hughs connects with a body shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hughs!
Hughs shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Le napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Le gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Hughs seems to be working for a kimura but Le defends the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hughs is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Le is hurt! He's hurt bad - Hughs fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Le from any more punishment! Congratulations to Hughs! Great finish!
