The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rackham will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gracie feinted with a counter takedown.
An inside leg kick from Rackham misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rackham, right into the meat.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rackham pinned against the cage. Rackham gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A countering left hand to the body from Rackham misses.
Rackham tests Gracie's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rackham lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Gracie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rackham avoids it really well and circles away.

Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rackham is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Rackham circles away and we're back to standing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rackham is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Gracie tries for a takedown. No joy.
Rackham unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Rackham lands an elbow inside that Gracie shrugs off.
Rackham is pushing Gracie up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Rackham gets through Gracie's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Gracie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rackham fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Zelios Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rackham defends well and Gracie ends up having to push Rackham into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rackham tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rackham to the ground. Rackham escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie is looking to break free of the clinch but Rackham has double underhooks.
